I dunno man, with your setup, even assuming your a good driver, one thing that would help would be slicks, and some suspension work, then I would say Yes , but as is I would have to say IMO probably not Hope you do it man that would be Phat

what did shaving .40 off of the head get you as far as compression?
i'm just wondering. considering getting a head and decking it for performance myself.
it brought me up to about 10.2 to 1 compression compared to the stock 9.2 or so. not too much due to my use of nitrous. you may be able to go alittle more if you are staying n/a

so how do you like your pyr cam? what rpm does power start coming in and what rpm do you shift at?
i haven't met very many people in orlando that keep the stock d16a6... that makes for alot of parts but very little knowledge... thanks again...
i love my pyr cam except for the fact that it has a very lumpy idle. I start making power at around 4000 rpm and shift at around 7300 rpms. my cam hits agressivly and with the zex shot it is pretty violent. it is a strictly high end cam. i give you credit for keeping the stock d16a6.
i know what a zex kit is....it is NOS...nitrous oxide...or should i say N 2 0 instead of NOS

what do you run now, i cant imagine that you dont run in the 13s with that setup. id maybe look at getting a cam gear since your head was milled your actually loosing come power compared to what it could be and also since you have an aftermarket cam it would be great. but a friend of mine ran a 13.58 i think it was with a 100 shot in a 1.5l hatch gutted like a mummy. might have been a slightly larger shot and he was just playin, but huh?

NOS stands for Nitrous Oxide Systems and is a subcompany of Holley...They've been producing nitrous injection systems since the 60s or 70s...ZEX is just another brand name....

Actually I remember seeing an article on the internet where someone did a shitload of work to a d15b2 and managed to run 12's but I can remember where it is. I think they had a turbo and the crazy thing is they didnt switch it over to MPFI.
