Arrow 16" or Stock Si's

I finally found some stock Si's (Civic 1999). This guy is selling them for $400 with tires. The two front ones are pretty bald and the back ones are ok. Rims are in good condition, so what do you guys think, should I sell my 16" Konig Tuners and get the stock Si's? Also how much money will I have to spent to replace the two front tires? I think this is the measurements 195/50/R15, I was thinking some Kumho's.

You can get some new tires for 150 or in that area. I really like the Si rims but its all you man.

he should go down on the price a little if the two fronts are that bad. $400 is always the starting price.

I'll talk to him about the two front tires, and maybe he will drop the price if not I'll just keep my rims. Any body have pics of a CRX with stock Si's (civic 1999)? Will I notice a faster acceleration due to the decrease in diameter?
Steel: The price you quoted, is that only two or the four tires?

I've seen a CRX with gunmetal rims and OMG they suit the car! 14's looks so so on the CRX but 15's look like its made for the car.
The CRX I'm talking about is a aguy in my club. He's got his car painted something along the lines of gunmetal.
Looks so fresh and so clean!

hehe i have 16" konig tuners too. i'm almost tempted to get some stock rims too just to get a feel for non-low profile tires again :P

$400 seems like an awful lot for stock 1999-2000 SI rims with bald tires. I got my 15 inch Rota Slipstreams new for not that much more. And they are MUCH lighter. Unless you like the stock SI rims, I would forget it.

This is what you should do:

1: Don't get the si wheels, buy my 16s

Just kidding, $400 does sound a little high.

"cum ho" tires would run you like $100-120... check out Tirerack. I think they are like $51 a piece or something like that.

$400 is too much for a used set; I paid $498 for mine, brand new in the boxes.

As for tires, the stock Si tire size was 195/55-15. I'm running 205/50-15s and they're great. The gauges aren't off and the contact patches are a little bigger.
