dochmees is an unknown quantity at this point
1990 Honda CRX 1.6i-16V DOHC (D16Z5) ignition and cams timing

If I lower my engine head about 0.5 mm, that is I raise my compression rate from 9.5:1 to 9.95:1 and also will do some port polishing and valve job, how should I set ignition timing and cams timing? I will install of course adjustable cam gears but as we dont have any kind of dyno possibilities I have to tune it just by taking car to action.

Should I retard the ignition a little bit as the engine head will go a little bit lower than in stock? And also because of lowering head there will be then changes with cam settings. Should I retard exhaust cam timing and advance intake timing? Does enyone know stock CRX 1.6i-16V DOHC (D16Z5) cam angles?

Any sugestion concerning this matter is very valuable.:

PS! Basic tuning is already done - 4-2-1 header + sport exhaust system, CAI, lightweight pulley.
