Question 1991 CRX hf questions

I am going to go look at a 1991 CRX hf that has 121,??? miles on it and was wondering if there are any common rust out spots or any other common problems/issues I need to look for before buying it. I also was wondering if anyone can point me in the direction of a list of engine and transmission codes, so I can make sure that it does indeed have a hf engine and transmission in the car. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

And I have tried to search for this information but I can't seem to find anything useful on CRX hf's.

ill do my best here...

there will be typical rust on the rear quarter panels, under the body plastics, the rocker panels. and possibly on the hatch. most likley the hatch struts will need replaced. the drivers seat will be torn on the bolster closest to the driver door. the climate control might be cracked near the hot/cold dial. headlights might have moisture in them. check belt condition...oil, coolant, tires and suspension, and based on that you should be able to make a logical decision, that mileage is great for those motors...lots of life still if they were maintained. just remember...these are old cars, and sometime you have to let a deal go based on a losing investment( like if the rust is horrible and shit like that)

Thank you very much, I've have decent experience with hondas, just not so much with the CRX and your information on the crack and rust out spots should be very helpful.

check the floor too...always check the floor. Pull up the carpet if you have to, its not worth finding out about it later. Under the seats and under the pedals.

I might be a little late on this but I did write this up the last time I bought a CRX:
