is the 1st gen crx bumbers the same size as the 84-87 civics?

is the 1st gen crx bumbers the same size as the 84-87 civics? I was told that they were and that i would be able to fit them on my 87 civic. Is this true it makes since to me but does anyone have somnething to say diffrent?

the civics are wider if I remember correctly (not likely)

for one.. i know that the header panel (between the headlights) is longer on the civ than the rex.. so I imagine the bumper is wider also.
