i have just recently bought an 87 crx si from the original owner. i found out soon after that theres practically no aftermarket for the d15a3 engine. im trying to see if a d16 will bolt right in and if so would it bolt up to my 5 speed already in the car.
Yes, a d16 will swap right in, and you'd be better off utilizing the tranny that comes with whichever d16 you get. The d16z6 is the best d imho, please do some searching
