Question $3500 on a B20

What is the best way to go about spending $3500 on a B20 swap?

I would probably rebuild the bottom end. Make it strong with some pistons and rods. The sleeves are pretty strong already. Do some head work. Then slap on a turbo kit (custom or premade). Some management (zdyne or hondata). There, that should give you some tire burning power (all 5 gears), especially in the crx.

Heres a list I made to figure out what I need and how much it would cost to throw the B20 block I have into my 99 Si (B20 Block has cracked sleves).

- Iron Ductile Sleves $800
- Pistons + Rods $700
- New Honda VTEC oil pump $84
- New Honda VTEC Water Pump $82
- New Honda VTEC Timing Belt $50
- DSM or RC injectors abd resitor box (440 CC) $50 - $400
- ECU (Chiped P28 or P30) $150-300
- SMC $80
- New Honda Piston Rings $100
- New Honda Rod and Main bearings $50
- Random Gaskets $30
- Honda B20 Head Gasket $50

I hope this give you a general Idea of what you need, what you might want and how much it costs.
