5 Lug ITR Conversion On Crx Si, Pls Help!!!!

Ok so I've searched all over this board and have yet to get the right answer. Some say it works some say there are modifications. I already have the whole 5 lug suspension from a 99 JDM ITR. My question is i've been hearing that its almost a plug and play but also heard that the spline count on the hub its self is 38mm and if thats the case then i don't believe my hasport axles will work on this. How do I get this whole suspension on my car, do I need to get ITR axles and will they work on my car or what modifications need to be done. I little help or clarifaction would be greatly appreciated. You guys have always come through so help me out.

sorry honey... you'll get positive front camber if you do the swap like this...

front hubs are diffirent from EF to EG chassis and the EG is the same as the ITR (basically, the ITR = EG as far as the main suspension setup goes)

you need to get some CRX siR or 90-91 integra XSi (or whatever is better than stock USDM CRX Si front hubs), then get the center bit out (uhm... what actually holds the threads you put the wheels on... )

do the same on the ITR front hubs, have those reworked to be a little smaller (uhmmm machine work required, as the center bit has a larger diameter on the itr, a couple of mm I think) and afterwards have that pressed into the crx hub...

rear is bolt on

haven't tried it yet (don't have 5lug stuff around ) but this was explained to me by somebody who has actually done the swap on a CRX siR here in Europe...

Why do people spend so muhc money and take so much troublesome time just to have another lug on their wheels?

I just don't see spend the cash. Any front brake upgrade you can get for 5 lug, you can get for 4x100 and as for suspension, it's the same. Just depends on what product you choose.

um the 4 to 5 lug conversion is one of the more dangerous mods anyways so why do it and also it dosnt matter if it is four or five lugs you can get all the same upgrades.

Since it's so much work to get the ITR 5 lug on a CR-X, why not just buy some aftermarket brakes? If you want a Type R look, the CTR wheels are 4x100.

*edit* My bad, they're 4x114.

5mm offset difference kids... that shit makes the brakediscs a lot more expensive... that's the reason for people swapping over...

anyways... why would it be dangerous? the only danger I see is the modification of the front hubs... but since there's no difference in OEM mounting of the things, you just have to find a machine shop that can do the work perfect enough for it to fit like it should...

but hey... don't listen to me... I've just been driving a VT for 5 years... without the 5 lug conversion as stock brakes aren't that bad anyways (using braided brake lines, grooved discs and some decent pads)... always shitloads better than stock...

but they still suck when braking from 120+ mph back to whatever...

Well the reason i'm doing the 5 lug conversion is bcz I got a great deal on the whole Type r 5 lug suspension and to top it off I have some buddy club qf's 16 x 7 offset:45 5 x 114 and a set of Spoon Calipers Sitting in my garage. All that put together will make an awesome set-up. Now money is not an issue with me so that part doesn't bother me, only thing that really matters to me is to get the job done correctly. Anything is possible. I do appreciate you guys helping me out. I will look into this a bit more b4 I go crazy trying to get everything to work doing it myself.
