I love my Si tranny but 5th mph's go as such:
50 mph - 2500 rpm
60 mph - 3000 rpm
70 mph - 3500 rpm
80 mph - 4000 rpm
You can tell what that means. My highway mpg sucks ass. How hard is a 5th gear swap? I can get one from an HF. I think i'll get an lsd in at the same time if I can save the money.

Oversteer is when you hit the wall with the back of the car. Understeer is when you hit the wall with the front of the car. Horsepower is how fast you're going when you hit the wall, and torque is how far you drag the wall with you.

Its not too bad, just a really time consuming project, and as always when dealing with a transmission, be careful and do it right the first time. no short cuts. And invest in a Haynes Manual if you havent already. it will walk y5ou through it.
Its worth it though.
