85 crx 1500 needs help and love

im not getting spark. that is what its coming down to. from reading posts for about 4 hours my eyes are burning. and im about to pull all my hair out.

well bought rex for 800 from a guy online. carb needed to me replaced muffler need to be added and timing was off by 1 tooth. fixed all the above and the car was fast and got great mpg. now she is dead and we did some work on her trying to get her back to life. no luck at all

test coil - good
test battery - good
test for spark with tester from dizzy to plug and got nothing.
also started to look at the dizzy then, bought a new ignitor and replaced it noting.

could this be ground issues? time to beg for some free 4g wire?

she turns but no luck. she just stoped running when i pulled up to a intersection and i had to push her about a mile in chicago. that wasnt fun.

now im reading about a main relay alot, but does this relay have anything to do with a 1985 carbed rex?

im getting fuel i can smell it from the carb.

Anthony

Pull the cap off the dizzy and have someone else crank it for you. Check to see if your rotor on the dizzy is spinning, if it's not then your timing belt snapped. Start with this first.
