you should also ask more specific questions. and maybe try searchin a lil too. random info on your rex: most 84-87 civics are compatable, most parts. you cant use any other body parts except for a 84-87 rex, the front is different. also your lights are different then 86-87 rexs and civics. is it a 1500 S? HF? DX? HF drums have been argued to be better as they sposedly have the same braking power but are lighter. you can use the slightly larger front disks from a 86-89 integra. the engine from a 4wd wagon will not bolt up to your tranny. the wagons have stiffer torsion bars and most likely different hight springs. All 84-85 civic have CVCC (mostly for mileage and emissions i think) but the 1500S does not. The HF redlines at about 5k rpm. the motor from a 86-89 integra will bolt up in your car, though you will have to use the Si wiring. 86-87 teg motors are easier then 88-89 to put in your car (if using the Si wiring) because of vaccuum advance timing. you can put in the rear disks from a 86-89 integra. your rear sway bar is hidden in the axle.
thats jus sum stuff i had lying at the top of my head. and redpepperracing.com is a great place to go for info on 1st gen rexs/3rd gen civics
