hey ppl i wanna get more horspower in my 87 crx.. i cant find that much info on it. can i engine swap and is it worth it??? if i can wat kind of engine.. this is my first car and i don wanna sell it ever!!! lol and i found 1 body kit for it is there more??? the 1 i found don like it that much.. can i put a body kit even though it its for a diffrent year??? that would be cool... thx for answering my questions

I dont know that much about the 1st gen crx's. I do know they dont make alot of stuff for it and when you find parts for it, their not going to be cheap.

aww im gettin this car for free it runs soo good got it from a towing company it was leaned.. it started right up.. dude said he didnt start it for 2 weeks!!! need s a lil paint but i DO NOT WANT 92 HP!!!! i wanna smoke my dads 1988 300zx. lol if thats possible

Is the car fuel injected (i.e. is it an Si?). If so, it will be much easier to make fast than a carbuerated car. The best route is a ZC engine swap. Search around the boards to find more about the ZC motors - they make about 130hp and you can get them from JDM cars rather cheap. The next part of the equation is weight - lose it! This car is extremely weight sensitive, and the lighter you make it the faster it is going to go. Lose the AC, radio, carpet, sound-deadening, and anything else you can live without.
