89 si is dead, atleast for now

well my 89 Crx si pretty much died on friday. It still ran put man was the motor knocking. Never heard anything like it, it was so bad I though it was the tranny, but it wasn't the tranny felt great and smooth. But my water temp went through the roof. I was able to get it to my friends shop buy turning it off and letting it coast probably for 1.25 miles out of the 3 mile drive. But at the shop sitts my 90 CRX hf with a good motor in it and bad tranny, this car is waiting on the H22. So the HF motor d15whatever is going in the si, on the si tranny. Only hope this combination lasts for at least 8 months, the last time I drove my HF the motor felt great, and still started right up on friday after sitting for 4 weeks. Oh well I will have the slowest Si ever on thursday, or better yet wed. I can't wait to see how that motor feels with all of that extra gear, not to say I am going to drive it hard, because I need a daily driver. I am pretty pissed I have to drive My 2000 Si everywhere until I get the Crx Si/Hf back.
