Question 89 Si Rims

any one have any pics of the '89 Si rims painted black, gun metal or powder coated? i wanna paint my rims, and just wanna know how they would look before hand. thanks!

There is a pic of one in the CRX pic forum. I think they look hella ugly. You'd be better off just getting some lite steelies and painting them black. The steelies look better IMO.

so should i just repaint the the original silver color? and if so, whats the best matching paint i could find at the auto store? thanks!!

Well, if you like black. Go Black. Thats just my opinion man. There are tons of drivers who nuts over that black jdm look. Whats wrong with the regular silver color that they are now?

well the rims are scratched up and are faded, i just want to paint them to make them look better. i didnt know if the black would look good or not, the silver doesnt look bad either. just wanted some opinions. thanks!!

what color is your car?

Ever think about saving up a few benjis and getting a nice set of cheap wheels? There are some really nice no name wheels out there that would look really nice on there. Better yet, I think Acura GSR, or Civic Si wheels look really nice on a CRX.

the rims are actually on my 96 civic, when i gave my rex to charity (: ) i swapped rims and tires. my cars color is black also. and i have no money, no job. so i want to see what i can do very cheaply, and make the rims look better that they look now.
