89 tranny - 90 clutch?

I've searched and searched and can't find a totally positive answer, So I am resorting to posting a question. I have an 89 d16a6 with an SI tranny. Will a clutch for a 1990 SI work? I've seen different opinions on this, because of spline count and flywheel diameter. I was looking at some clutches and some of them say 90-99. I thought 89 and after were all the same. Thanks.

The spline count is the same. the flywheel is different. It won't bolt up. I found this out the hard way.
