ahhhh.....header scrape

Just got my B16a rex back from the muffler shop today (which by the way the thing is WAYYYY too loud with only a borola muffler and no cat or resanotor) and I was pulling into a friends driveway and SSSSKKKKKKKKCCCCCC (the sound of my DC 4-1 ceramic header scraping on the ground), I checked out the damage and it lookes like the two bottom pipes are scraped and maybe a little dented in but not leaking.....will this cause problems and will I loose power with the small dent at the bottom of the header? Can I take it to a muffler shop and get them to thicken it back up again by just putting some weld on it....along with welding a plate over it to help protect from more srape. My car isnt even lowered at all which sucks, Im supposed to get new suspension next week and then Im definetly gonna be scrapping everything after that, what can I do about this???? do they make aftermarket steel scrape plates or anthing like that????

I don;t think you will lose too much power provided the tubing is not flattened too much. As for repairing it, I don't know that this is really necessary unless the tubing leaks. Regardless, this is why I am not in favor of using 4-1 headers on swaps.

I wouldn't worry to much about it, just be careful next time and as long as there are no leaks you should be ok.
