Question another SOHC question

i know that there has been alot of questions about the SOHC motors, but i have another. will the D16Y7 head work on the D16A6 block? i know there is a combo that the pistons will hit the valves.

As far as I know it will work. Honda engines have a lot of free play. I don't believe there is a combo where the pistons and valves will hit. Anyone know for sure?

The valves will hit on any block that originally came with an 8 valve head and any 16 valve head. There are only two reliefs on those pistons for valves.
