ohhh i know, to expand on the SHO hating thread.

First we gotta have the thread, and on we can create a "flaming crew" (ya i know it sounds gay) anyone that wants to can join, then also on the thread we post links to dumb threads, ppl that try to sell stuff when their not supposed to or just things that admins would normally have to clean up. Then the flamers go in flame whoever did the dumb things, neg rep them to death and make them feel like idiots.

The point is to make nubs, or just other guys that are idiots, leave and maybe get the attention of admins so maybe they can do their jobs instead us doing it for them.

Lastly.. it will make SHO a bit more interesting.

Man.. i can't believe i thought of that stuff... normally i'm all for helping nubs but this place is just getting ridiculous.

Offense:
- nub trying to sell stuff, every single post he made is about his crap car.
- bumping old threads for no dumb reasons.
- asking to much for a car he hardly gives any details on - only that its high mileage and 2nd gear is going out...

i would def. have to say you accomplished that goal in the other thread. i would feel sorry for him if i didnt know he was just some stupid fuck trying to scam someone. he first off does not have the 50 post limit-to-sell, nor does he even mention anything usefull besides a shitty car.

First off, if I could find another site where people actually post helpful tips, projects, and troubleshooting for Honda's/CRX I would join...However this is not the case with many sites (such as tuner-junction, which makes SHO look not so sucky [no one is ever on this damn site at all, and if they are they don't post])...

Third, I usually help out no0bs too (I mean hell we all were no0bs to this site at one point [even if we weren't no0bs to cars]); I feel for them and try to help b/c I can't stand the thought of them getting bad advice and destroying an otherwise decent Rex (when a Rex [any Rex] dies, I die a little bit inside)...But this place has just been getting the most retarded no0bs on the damn planet for some reason; what we need isn't a new site for us to go to, we need better admins and SHO sister site just for no0bs (this will keep them in their own little f*cked up world and out of hair).

Now while i admire your thinking as this would be a great idea. for one, Noobs Have a need to fuck it up for the people here who can actually tune a car the right way. so a sister site would work, but the asses would float to our site as well, ruining our tranquility and peace with a ran into the ground question.

i do however like the idea of appointing new moderators however. i have quite a few that i would nominate, now knowing who really knows what they r talking about, and whos faking the funk. i would NOT go by join date because i know quite a few who have only been here for a short while, but have grown into this site very quickly.

Now for my suggestion. i would nominate Drumming to make a new site for us, since he does it for a living. the app process could be whittled down by giving a prior site name such as a sho alias or honda-tech etc. and let the powers that be review their previous postings and attitude towards tuning. While this is almost impossible to make into fruition it could be done with carefull planning.

but since this is most likely not going to become a reality, i revert into electing new moderators

If we did get a new site there would have to be a selection process in order to prevent no0bs and dumb shits from entering....Something like a few questions and the answers would have to reviewed by moderators..I think that this could work great and would keep no0bs out. Basically it would be at our or the moderator's discretion whom could come in, people could not just simply sign up and come in.

But then who would want to join if its so tedious to get in, and even then you may not end up with enough guys to join, or who have good info.


Basically the key is admins/mods who are active and delete dumb posts or ban people. That's all we need in our CRX section for it to be half decent.

Is that really to much to ask?

True that, but if it did come down for a vote, the one person i would have the most confidence in with being the a mod for us would be drumming. Other then him probably being way to busy, he IMO would be a good choice for moderator.

i would as well, but i believe everyone here would agree as well. god, i sound like a cum guzzling groupie , but i think he would be good. i also say that sol could still be one if he got more active, but i doubt that will happen.
