No, you won't. You end up capping out in the FWD world, there's only so much power you can put to the road, and the fact that your front wheels do everything is severely limiting. The trouble with RWD is that there's ALWAYS bigger and scarier things to do.

... then you level up to AWD, and after that all that remains is planes and learning to teleport. I'm still working on teleporting, but I hope to have it down by the end of the year.

True there is so much more to do with RWD....And of course it's funner (I wish I still had my SN95), but at the end of the day we all need a basic daily and nothing can get better gas mileage then a FWD. Not to mention where I live FWD, AWD, and big fucking redneck 4WD are the only lucrative vehicles 45% of the year.

I personally wouldn't mind having an SRT4, HHR SS, Scoob, or some other type of factory forced induction FWD or AWD vehicle to leave basically stock (i/h/e,wheels, springs, struts) and drive daily. Actually that's what I'm looking for.

RWD is the only way to go any more in terms of power and what can be done, which is why I'm contemplating either boosting my Elky with an intercooled T5 (GT5541R - 777210 -11 or anything between .68 and .81 a/r ) and a blow-through carb system. This seams like a great way to build my first turbo system and will be a lot simpler than tuning a fi engine.

only so much power u could put to the road? ya true.. but I think that cap is more then enough for me.. i mean a dude on rpr is running built/boosted lsvtec in his 86 hatch and running 10.7 quarters.. with stock axles and no lsd I will never build a drag car so I really am not worried about the limitations of fwd.....

but rwd just has some fun "things" that fwd can't do on the corners.

I drove my buddies evo 8 and omg i love the traction, someday i will save up enough money and get a evo9mr to play with (when i'm dead maybe?) untill then i'm going to play with the cheap fwd/rwd cars.. unless i get into dsm's

ya thats the problem with he e30... the gas mileage is going to suck with it, i mean i drive at least 40mi daily and pretty often over 100 in a day. So unless i get my job/school/life within 20mi then i think i will probably stick to a beater fwd honda.

if I had the cash a stock boosted car would be fun for a dd . . .but again its not within my financial situation. . i mean just one summer class is costing me $810!

I'm looking to get this: Fs 86 Si - Red Pepper Racing The dude says he will hold onto it for a month to see if i can pick up enough cash and get up there to grab it, it would be a fun dd.

btw jordan when did u become such a post whore?

peace!

You'd be surprised at the gas mileage you'll get my dude has an E36 328i four door and he claims to get close to 30. My SN95 would get anywhere from 20-28 depending on the flogging for that day.

I know what you mean about school. I just graduated in June with my Associates in Business and one in Accounting and I'm going on to get my MBA. Shit sucks I'm at the point now where I may have to sell one or both of my cars just to get through this year.

That SI is pretty sick if I could find something like that I'd def snatch it up for a DD. Oh and I'm just a whore.

There's no shame in taking rich college kids' trust funds to put 24s on an elky....

So holy fuck there are some old faces in here, I haven't been around for a while...basically getting ready to move for my next years of school...(I decided to drop business and pick up comm. journalism and art do it'll be at least four more years of slacking)....

Had my Rex out the other day trying to start it (had it tore apart to put on ITR calipers and some other minor shit and now my ignition isn't getting any spark [starter won't even roll]) I'll have some pics of the shit up as soon as i get them off of my phone (ya I'm baller status, we don't use cameras).

The front end maybe coming off soon so the fenders can be hacked (there's no rolling to get those MT under there). But I've also been playing with the idea of a one-piece front end too...I used to see them all over the net now I can't find a one...Well nothing too promising.
