its lookin good guy, we are both doing very different swas and builds or i would try to help you out, but i know nothing of the b series moitors
good luck man, rex looks great
Yeah, I actually kind of wish I had swapped in a d16a6, because that would keep me competitive on the SCCA track. Now I'm in a bracket that keeps me from even coming close to par times

I've been looking at this for a while now. Its pretty good. Im doin the same build up and I have the same color rex as your engine bay, and all the way around. But nice write up and kudos for the multi-colored soon-2-be beast!!!
I'm hoping to have more media for the write-up. I'm going to see if I can borrow a camera to take up with me on Monday, when I'll be visiting and working on her again. Wish me luck, I just ordered a shift linkage off eBay, hopefully it's in good condition. I broke down and bought a non-custom-built one, but got a modified linkage instead, because I don't know where my shifter went. Hopefully it fits, has everything I need, and I lined up the exhaust correctly so that I can just slip it all together.
... here's hoping.

Well, I got to go up and work on it, but ran into some complications.
My battery's gone, for some strange reason. I mean not physically in the car, anywhere. I didn't have a proper jack either, so getting the shift linkage on was a bitch. Then I didn't have the bolts for the shift linkage. I decided to head home and call it a day. Everything's line up and ready to go, the parts are all sitting at the Honda Barn right down the street from the car, I just need to make it up there. Wish me luck.

Hey for some weird reason, Im having trouble puttin on my rear mount. It fits, but its just that my mount/mount bushing on my rear frame doesnt line up. My trans bracket makes it seem like it should be over an inch or two, and I have 2 integra rear mounts and they both dont fit. I just got a 3rd one, but for some reason I cant solve this. I can use the stock CRX SI rear mount w/the Integra Trans mount bracket cant I??? Thats my biggest question. If you could help me or know someone that could, I would apperciate it.

Do you mean the bracket that's attached to the rear crossmember, on the frame? Or do you mean the go-between bracket that looks like an H that goes between the two? If you mean the H bracket, then no, you'll need one from a b18a1 (the b1 won't fit either, it's slightly shorter because the b18b1 was mounted slightly farther back). If you can, throw up a picture of the bracket you're using. Actually, throw up all the pics of your swap you can get, I'm trying to put together a comprehensive walkthrough, and my pics alone aren't going to cut it.

update: just ordered a killer ground kit on ebay. Headed back up tomorrow for my baby. As long as I can afford a new battery, I should have her running just like a song tomorrow.

Due to exhaust complications only slightly related to the swap (the catalytic converter is too far forward for the headers to fit) and just plain old wanting-ness, I ordered a set of headers as well. Pic included. If possible, I'll document the installation of both using pictures as well. Neither of these two pieces is required to complete the swap, I just want to make sure that's clear.

just got my exhaust headers in today. My work schedule changed for this week, so it doesn't look like I'll be able to make it up to work on the CRX. I only have one day off, and it's about an hour drive, and I have no car (hence the working on the CRX). Basically, I'm gonna have to wait 'till next weekend. For now I'm going to worry about setting up all the legal (register, inspect [wish me luck], title, get my license back if i haven't already) stuff. I have all the parts, just need to weld up the catalytic converter, install my exhaust linkage, install the battery tray and battery, fill fluids, make sure she runs, and toss the hood back on. Then I'll need to break in those old brakes, and hopefully I can get the Integra rotors and calipers to fit.
Anyone interested in checking out the photos I've taken thus far (using my crappy webcam on my laptop until I get an lx2:
