d16y8 turbo setup

ok im wondering if a stock rotating assembly will hold up to five or six psi of boost in this particular motor.

i will be adding all the usual bolt ons, (headers, cold air, fuel injectors/rail/pump, flywheel, exhaust, and so forth) and even a stage 2 cam, but i am curious as to wether or not it is safe to leave my internals stock for this low amount of boost

no need to bump the thread every half hour. we will get to it when we can.

yes it is safe on a small-moderate sized turbo.

no need for an aftermarket fuel rail, and possibly the pump.

just get it tuned. and make sure you convert it to obd1 for tuning.

no I4 has "headers" its a single header. lol just to be a smartass. jk

but i just meant theheader that comes with the turbo kit (and cold air it comes with)

yes its a pretty small turbo. just a t3/t4 kit

and ya the stang is about 400

its fun fun fun

boost is not what you have to worry about, horsepower is. 6 psi on a small turbo is not equal to 6 psi on a larger one in anything but the unit of pressure.
