DX-SI swap HELP!!!

I have a 90' CRX DX. I have put a D16y7 engine in it and did an Si swap. My car is an automatic. I have recently put a 91 Si intake manifold, wiring, distributor and a 37820-PM6-A040 Ecu in it. I have checked all of the connections three times and my car still will not run. I have figured out that the ECU is for a manual tranny. The engine will turn over and try to start but will stumble and misfire and I smell gas. I need some help. Someone please give me some ideas on what to do.

Check timing and the distributor. Then try a different ecu.

I have Lined up the TDC marker on the crank pulley and the markers on the cam gear and made sure the rotor was at the #1 cylinder position. It may be the ECU? Will a car act like that if you have a manual ECU in an automatic car?

I dont know the exact symptons of running a manual ecu in an auto car but I know it doesnt run right. It would definitely be at the top of my diag list.

The currnet ECU is throwing #3,8 & 10 codes. Do you know what ECU I would need for a automatic with MPFI. I have had the car for 2 years but I am new to this swapping game.

I know theres a way to convert the manual to an auto or vice versa.

3=MAP Sensor
8=TDC Position(dist.)
10=Intake Air Temp

All three of those codes will cause the car to not run.

I'm sorry I meant 16 instead of 10. Still, I had none of these codes before I did the swap and it ran OK. The only thing I did different was put my "Crane Cams" cap and rotor and "MSD" ignition coil on the Si distributor. Are you talking about converting the ECU or the changing the tranny? Other than the ECU can you think of anything I may have done wrong? Any idea what ECU will work?

Convert the ecu. I dont know what ecu is the auto version. I think its just a different code on the label but its still a PM6. Code 16 is an injector.

Does anyone know if this ECU that I have is for a DOHC (PM6-A040)? I have a SOHC and if that is the case then that may be why nothing is working right. Does anyone know what ECU I will need?

Thanks for the reply...I am going to try a PS9 ECU it is for a SOHC MPFI automatic...do you know where I can find one? Once I put it in I am going to go from there as far as diagnosis. Hopefully that will fix the problems.

I need to buy a PS9 from someone. That is the ECU I need for an Si setup with an automatic tranny. You work with what you've got. It is a daily driver anyway. I'm having to drive my chevy truck and the gas is killing me. If someone has that ECU I would be glad to buy it from them.
