mini me probs

ive got an 89 hf with a sohc zc block and a d16z6 head. it wont start. it will crank and crank but won't fire. ive got gas but no spark. at first i tried running the si distributor with the swap but it wouldnt start so i changed the connectors on the d16z6 distibutor and tried to use that. i am running an 89 teg ecu and because it is obd0 i thought the ecu wouldnt work cause it is obd1. it still cranks but no spark. maybe my timing is off? please help me out. thanks

Check you cam/engine timing as well as your ignition timing. Another idea is to check and see if the injectors have pulse. I know you said you have fuel but that doesn't mean it's getting to the engine. Oh! I just thought of some thing did you use the 92-95 injectors? Are you using the 89 integra computer and the injector resistor? That won't work the injectors are different types from the two OBD systems. If you're using the OBD 0 stuff then use the ZC or Si or whatever injectors or it won't ever start. Don't worry all civic injectors are 240CC so it doesn't matter for size if your worried. To recap the "peak and hold" stlye and the "saturated" style do not intermix. I can't remember which is which right now but they can't work in each others place. Good luck!
