need advice locked motor

i am still in the middle or hopefully getting to the end of my swap i have had tremendous problems to overcome some has taken weeks(wrong parts, didnt have a very needed part etc.. etc....) well we finally was ready to get the last few remaining items on the motor before firing when we discovered a monumental problem THE MOTOR WOULDNT TURN OVER BY HAND so i freaked out after that we took apart the timing belt valve cover spark plugs and sprayed pb blaster into the cylinder walls after about ten minutes my motor was spinning freely im not sure of any internal damage needed advice is has anyone had this happen what do you think the outcome could be we are so far along i am going to try to fire the motor anyway i mean it can only go two ways good or bad just thought i would see if anyone else has had this problem

at the very worst your motor may have some seized parts in the block. if you sprayed it with pb and it freed up, i would suggest putting the swap on hold, and taking the block to be ripped apart, hot tanked, as well as tanking the internals. if not you may get one good fire and snap something inside and then you really are fucked. this could be as simple as a cylinder hone, or complex as needing a slight bore(hence needing new pistons)

Red face

umm well we pulled the motor out we didnt get it freed up i just thought we did it would turn slightly but wouldnt make a full rotation the problem we figured out after we took the tranny off that the pressure plate was hitting on the inside of the tranny housing it has a big gash where the pressure plate is rubbing so what we believe to have happened is that A.C.T. sent me the wrong pressure plate after we pulled the tranny off the motor spun freely like it was brand new so for now the swap is out and we are once again waiting for parts still i am not giving up and will keep informed of how things are going
