Thanks guys. It has a small spot of rust above the rear d.s. fender but, that's about it. I need to paint it pretty bad but it's my daily driver. It looks WORLDS better than it did though. It was pretty riced out. It made me throw up in my mouth a little bit when I saw the Tommyknocker lights under the dash.

I got those stickers off e-gay a few years ago. They're really nice quality!

Well, I dig the fact you have a B16 and are still a D fan. Whatever floats your boat right?

It's my stock valve cover painted Summit Racing wrinkle red.

As for mods, Here goes.

91 rear disc conversion
91 tail lights
Jamex struts (I don't think they make em anymore)
ground control coils
Rota 15's
195-50 Falken tires
B&M short shifter
E-bay short ram
Aluminum radiator
virgin d16z6
91 si cable tranny
DC Sport cam gear
obd0 to obd1 conversion (p28)
Teg seats
Megan headers
custom fab 2.5 inch exhaust with High-flow cat
cheapo thrush muffler (sounds good and quiet)
e-gay upper and lower front rear strut tower bars (eh..)

Inside is stripped other than the doors. Still have the factory floor mats! Dash is in but the dreaded climate control disease hit hard a few years ago.

you know all the crx fan boys talk about this. mine is a 91 and (unless it was replaced before i got the car) it looks brand new...?

nice mod list. throw a nice clutch and flywheel combo in there with a cam and thats the perfect daily driver. just enough power to keep you out of trouble yet enough to make the daily commute to work alot of fun

Yep, you got it. That is the next thing I was gunna do. I want the stage 2 comp cam. Some friends of mine have a Dyno in their shop. I'm dropping that cam in and tuning it there. The clutch is still in good shape. It's just OEM. I do want a lighter flywheel though. I might change all of that at the same time.

personally i love my flywheel. i went with a fidanza on my z6. it was a 7 lb (12lbs lighter than stock) and it really made a difference. especially in the throttle response and it gave me much faster revs. (and it wasnt too bad when accelerating out of the apex either haha) i also used a clutchmasters stage 2. but for the price id rather have an exedy stage 1 like the one i have now.

as far as the cam goes. the comp cams 59300 series aka stage 2 requires the aftermarket valve train to go with it. i can give you part numbers if you like. but ive seen great results from said camshaft.

and for the same priceyou can get the compcams 59100 series if you didnt want to get the zex valvetrain.

Thanks man, I've heard so many different things about the sage2. Some say you can get by with stock springs/retainers. I agree to a point. I think if you're a daily driver that takes it easy you could probably get away with it. I have another z6 head that I'm going to rebuild with all the goodies. I also have some p29s for the bottom end. As soon as I find another z6 block in good shape, I'm going to build my next SOHC. As for the clutch/flywheel, I'll run new ones on that application.

No more cheap gas for me.

Thanks, I agree. I think a lot of the old CRXs are just too far gone. And some just need a little t.l.c. like mine did, and you will have yourself a GREAT light weight classic Honda. I understand it can be pricey, believe me. I've had this car for 5 years now. Granted I was on the road with my old band for 3 1/2 of them, It's been a lot of work keeping it up.

As for paint, I like the white on an Si. It's too early to tell right now what color I want to go.

I spent the better part of my 20's riding a sport bike as my only means of transportation. It takes a lot more defensive driving skills to get around. I drive my Rex just like I rode my bike. So far, so good huh?

haha high compression d series motors are fun as hell. are you looking at milling the head? or going with a 2 layer y8 head gasket? or just the pistons? i wanted to do the same thing to my old hatch but i never got around to doing it and eventually got rid of it for the crx i have now.
