Anyone worth their weight in KY jelly would tell you that suspension and tires are two of the most important things to alter on their car, weather they are drag racing, auto-xing, or just crusin the strip on a Friday night (gay thing to do), anyone will tell you that having a proper suspension setup is one of the keys to successful racing. My previous suspension setup was Front and rear upper strut bars, rear lower strut bar (I have the front lower but I am having some clearance issues with it so it hasn’t been installed yet), KYB AGX shocks (set at 3 in front and 4 in back), GC coilovers (with a custom rate for a B series motor in a CRX), stock HF front sway bar, no rear sway bar and stock bushings. I was getting tired of the GC coilovers and they way that they just had too much bounce to them while I was driving (you guys know what I mean), so I recently picked up a set of progress auto sports “swap” springs. These springs have a 2” drop all around and offer a stiffer spring rate for 4g civics w/ b-series motors. Last night I installed them (I also changed the rear shock setting to 3, so its 3 all the way around now) and all I can say is WOW, these springs are great, a shit load less bounce, a nice even drop (something I was having to constantly fuck with when I was using the GC coilovers) and they just offered a smoother ride all around. Next suspension mods I am going to do are energy suspension bushings, a rear sway bar, and hopefully get that front lower strut bar to fit onto the car.
ive thought about getting progress spring. there not a expensive either. anyone have experience with eibach pro or tokico springs?? maybe ill get progress??

i have now rode in 2 CRX's with progress springs and they are both smooth as hell
Mods: 88 SiR, Blitz combat front bumper, buddy club side skirts, z3 fenders, wings west rear bumper. Euro antenna, Prelude seats, 17 in enkei rims, Short shifter, B16a, custom interior and stereo set up, and still working on everything else.
I have heard a lot of great things about those Progress springs. I have been thinking about going their coilover system which I also hear are just as good. Don't know yet money is an object but maybe I will go with the springs. Thanks for the post this helps.

edit: i had cheap coilovers before that
sweet.....but the only thing is that progress is the only company *SO FAR* that i have seen that makes lowering springs made for CRX's w/ b-series motors
I have the GC Coilover Sleeves with KYB AGX and I like the setup, but once these babies die I am going with the Tien setup. Anyone have these?? Atari? How are they? Can you get that setup so you can adjust them from inside the car electronicly? That would be awesome
i had the same setup before I got my Tien’s and it night and day in differences, and I can never see myself go back to what I had and yes I have the inside adjustable add-on it can be added to all there coilocers

not to all, some models of the coilovers do not have the compatability to use the EDFC

From what I read all the full coilover Tein systems can use them and when I ordered mine they told me it works with them all… I did however look on the Tein site but was unable to find any info on it plus the site was not in English
