obd-o headers

how do i run headers on my obdo jdm b16? are the only sensors i have to worry about are the 2 o2 sensors on the stock header..i wanna get an after market header..can i just have an exhaust shop weld me in 2 o2 sensors on the after market header in the same spots as the old header? like this? thanks guys

honestly, that header pictured looks good, if thats yours, keep it. unless you wanna spend 300+ on a new header thats better, Id advise getting yours cleaned up, maybe a new ceramic coating, and keep enjoying it.

if you want to get a 4-1 header (you have a 4-2-1 pictured) then I would guess that they have one O2 on top and one is down by the flange that connects to the catalytic converter. you can buy O2 sensor wire extensions that plug right in and give you a couple feet if needed. Id just go through the engine harness, carefully cut back teh plastic, and pull out the second O2 sensor wire, then re wrap it with heatshrink and plastuic wrapping stuff, or maybe a heat resistant sleeve

its actually not my header just one i found online that looked "right" to me..lol.. i dont have any o2 sensors down by the flange on my stock exhaust..ive read and read and i believe that i need to keep them close to the stock locations
