The rex in the pound!!!!

It seems like i can only have a car for a month before something happens to it. Last year, i blew up my breeze and this year, well, the crx is impounded. Weird story though...


So at the end of a weekend night i get 3 citations. 1.for blowing a stop sign 2.driving passed curfew 3 Avoding the cop (i was waiting for him to turn his top lights on but he didnt so thats when i deicied to try and ditch him)

AND

My car is impounded. All this happened fri, so i was screwed for the weekend.

We will see what happens tomorrow. I am a Christian (plz dont flame) so I am leaving it up to the Lord to help me through this. This is a huge financial upset especially since i was barely able to pay the bills i have now. As for the people that were messing with me to cause all this. Well, i HOPE it happens again. It will be a much different outcome...

This also puts my motor build on hold.

i honestly can't say i feel for you? you know the curfew limits, and you tried evading an officer?

you could have seriously hurt someone running from them. not worth it in my opinion.

ok heres how it went down. i was being chased coming home from work. i didnt know who these people were and they were freaking me out. when your trying to ditch someone going over 40 on the back roads and they still are trying to keep up, you know something is up. i only evaded the cop becuase i thought i was going to get nailed for speeding. it was dumb to try and get away, but if you were in my position it would have been hard, i had many variable against me.

i know! now you see one reasons why i ran..the guys were following for a couple hunder yards, driving recklessly on the highway. i freaked out and tried to lose them, blew a stop sign, and then as confronted by a cop. this all occured at 12:30 am and i worked at 6am so i was def not trying to race anybody, especially on back roads

Dont believe me if you want, but you werent the one running for your life, were you. i understand that i was wrong for running but like i said, i had alot of things against me.

if someone sketchy is following you, pull over, dial the cops, and if the sketchy people get out of their cars, just get out and start describing them on the phone. You can be pretty sure nobody's going to try shit when you're on the phone with the cops, and they have a description. Start with the plate number.

Don't try to run in the first place. That's so juvenile.

Thank you for believing me and not flaming. Your idea is good, considering that they are not armed, wearing masks (which i dont think they weren't but that doesn't mean they couldn't have them) and do not hold me up and steal my car, and the plate is in the front. But it is a logic that would have helped.They could have been my friends or people just screwing around, but it sure was hard to tell.

It is juvenile, yes, but I am 17. Just think, what do you think you would have done at my age, where there could be from 2-8 people behind you, where your driving a vehicle that is often stolen on the outskirts of a place where it occurs frequently? But yet, this car can take the back roads faster than many other vehicles.

I decided to go with the 2nd choice. If i crashed, well, at least it was my fault and i was not murdered (worst case scenario)

No way am i trying to justify what i did. I am just trying to make it seem like more of a last resort (which is what i felt) than a kid trying to have fun at 1am.

BTW it is $295 today; $40/day fee after.

Hey, I'm not by any means saying I was any smarter when I was 17. I was a good deal worse. I probably would have pulled off on a side road and started following them, in all likelihood. I just want to make sure you get a chance to grow up without having to rely too heavily on luck.

By the way, my Datsun was a little under $1500 to get out of the impound lot. Consider yourself blessed.

i'm black i get pulled over whenever i drive through maryland.

time number one. i had the cruise control set at 65 mph. and the cop pulled me over at 7a.m. in my clean ass teg and said i was doing 85 mph

time number two i was in my 240 just cruising at 65 mph and a bmw got on my ass and i pulled into the right lane. he pulled away doing at least 85 mph in a 65. a cop decides he's going to pull behind and withing 3 seconds flips his lights on, gets out and says he ran my tags and my car came back as a dodge? so i had to sit there for 15 minutes while he ran all my info

time 3 was in WV and these cops pulled me and another car that was with me over and said we were doing 50 mph in a 25. we weren't anywhere close to that, then within 2 minutes a fourth cop car pulls up and it's a k-9 unit. they made all of us out of our cars and then he accused me of drinking which i wasn't. i even volunteered for a sobriety test and breath machine. he simply gave me and attitude and threatened me with them even after i just volunteered for it. then they run all of our ID's two times, take the dogs around our cars 2 times and then after that they still hand searched our cars.......

and cops wonder why so many people don't like them. they have too much power. they are civil servants, not harbingers of death and over sized egos on power trips violating rights.

but i just recently had a two cops try to pull me over in southern pa about a week ago. they didn't realize that the suv behind me was one of my friends and they followed me for 2 miles pointing at my license plate trying to get behind me, but my friend sped up so they couldn't and acted oblivious to their presence. they kept it up for 5 minutes and then gave up and speed off like bats out of hell. fucking hate bastards like that. so i can understand why a young kid like you would be flustered by pricks with badges

i can sympathize with you on that one even though im a white dude. i was born and raised in east baltimore in the ghetto, and the cops there are true assholes. they once pulled me out of my car and searched me, it, and all my friends, all because i let my homie out of the car on a block to go talk to his mom who was walking home. they said i was dealing drugs, and if they found out they would make me pay for it and all sorts of shit
