Skunk2Integra has a little shameless behaviour in the past
Our Skunk2 Shorts shifters are great. Properly weighted and reduces throw by around 35% or so. Comes with ball bearings with low friction lube. If it works on our 10 second integra it will work for your car. Combine it with our 440g shift knob for a unbeatable combination.

Jeazus, don't cut your shifter! Thats just bad advice. Just get a short throw shift kit, and bolt that in. I got one and my shifts are less than 3" long. Thats pretty good.

The Skunk2 shifter has the "direct feeling" you are talking about. It is very "direct, positive, and crisp" as in you know what gear you're in and its very clean shifting.

Cutting the stock shifter does almost nothing but make it harder to drive.

how does it make it harder to drive it shortens the throw, and it lowers the truck style shifter the ef came with. it doesnt make it harder to shift at all. not in my experience.

I personally perfer not to reach my hand all the way down to shift. Our Short shifters lower about an inch compared to stock. Just right in my opinion. I work at marketing for skunk2 and i associate with the R&D department often.
