swap update need advice
ok the motor and tranny is in and bolted up the new pressure plate cleared the gsr tranny so that was a relief but one of the axles was wrong so i have to get that tomorrow my problem is the car will turn over but not firing when i turn the key i am not hearing my fuel relay or any other for that matter turn on not sure could be a main power wire that needs to be replaced or ground? very unsure any advice would be appreciated

check and recheck all your ground wiring, your battery fuse in the engine box, and your main relay under the dash. if anyone of these are bad you will get nothing when trying to start it. sounds to me like a ground. did you mount the tranny ground back on it?

Tranny ground is on there. Also I have put on a new power wire and hooked it back into the fuse box. I have replaced the main relay and made sure grounds from the radiator, valve cover, and starter are all connected. I am unsure of what else to do at the moment. Also i have plugged the old ecu back in just to make sure but the reaction was exactly the same nothing. So i do not know what to do. For now I am going to give it a break, think and wait for advice.

im having the same problem. 88 si putting a b16a1. did u put power to the fuel pump? i tried that and it made the pump fuel the filter but my injector rail sounded funny. so if yah get that figured out let me no i will do the same. im almost ready for paint just need to finish the motor then sand the primer

i cant hear the relay for the fuel pump but the fuel rail was leaking gas also i have no spark at all but that could be in the distributor (cause you know honda distributors are famous for going out in times like this) so for now we are tracing down wires and have a thought about doing a total rewire if i do i am going ahead and doing a wire tuck also

hey i got mine running it was my thermostat ground it was hard to find i also did a bunch of sanding on stuff now im waiting for rack and tie rod ends and im almost there good luck

yeah i had a ground missing in the same location I have it running and am driving it daily now i am working out other problems
