Building my h23

I´m rebuilding my h23 since it´s old and whatnot.
So since i´m rebuilding it i figured that without going over the top or anything i could upgrade some stuff, like stronger rods, maybe forged pistons, bigger injecors, more agressive camshafts and whatnot.
Bt my problem is that when i look i have a hard time find stuff for the h23 since everyone seems to like the h22 better.
Anyone have any suggestions where to look?
I have found that crower makes stuff but i´d like more options if thats possible? so thanks for any suggestions.

You need to do some research.. DONT use forged pistons unless you sleeve the block.. If your not going over the top just use oem Honda parts.. Get some head work done,, dont mess with the bottom end unless you have lots of cash..

yup

I have an H23. Listen to him.

You can do the crower stage 1 with some cam gears, if you go stage 2 you will need the valve kit - not sure if this is worth it - that is quite a bit of money and you will not make the power of an H22. With Cams, Engine management and a good tune you will reside around 185hp and 180lb ft at the flywheel.

I have the H23 and really, you either should set youself up to run some mild boost ------ or find an H22, you could spend 4000 to get the H23 to make the hp of the H22. Or spend 1600 rebuilding it and 3000 getting a respectable t3/4 turbo set up done at a shop and now you make a safe 260hp, and access to tourque the H22 can not provide.

Future Plans - turbo H23 or NA H22, last is paint.

with stage 1 cams? i just thought it'd be better to specify.

i agree though i'd build it for boost. always wanted to do that with an h23.

Yeah, stage 2 is what I meant for that hp and torque prediciton - wasn't very clear.
