i had very high numbers with my compression test. my numbers were a little over 200. it should be 178psi each cylinder. (of course no one is going to get 178 178 178 178)

what were your readings?

peace

i didnt pull any fuse. i took all the spark plugs out at the same time. you have to disconnect your distributor (theres 2 grey clips and its the one on the left -its a bitch to get off for some reason) when you have the compression tester in your first cylinder, have someone reading it while you have the clutch in, and the gas pedal all the way down, and crank it 4-5 times. its hard to explain exactly how/when to read it, but when youre doing it, it makes a lot more sense. have the same person reading the whole time so that you have consistant readings. and you also might want to do each cylinder twice. also, if one of the cylinders has a lot less compression than the rest, put a drop of oil in it (a wet test) and then test it again, this will tell you if its just a piston ring problem.

wutang one more thing...off the topic....

i have an extra H22a1 manifold, so what i did was i took the plate off of this extra manifold. i then took off the flippers and the rod that held the flippers on off too.....

so it is basicall like the dual runner is always opened...

what kind of gain do you think i should see?
