idle dip and shutter problem

I have a 97' base Lude. Mods include I/E flywheel stg2 clutch. My problem is when car starts it will shake really rough when idling for about 1-2 minutes, then it will start idling at right around 750 when i come to stops. However, here in lies my main problem, when I clutch in it drops really and shutters for a second like its about to stall and then goes back up. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

It might be the IACV. Search for some info on that.

YES! it sounds EXACTLY like a ditry/defective Idle Air Control Valve I posted a lengthy article on an earlier thread (car dies in neutral) that is worth reading if you have this problem. Basically, get a Factory Shop Manual (68 bucks through Helminc.com and worth every penny), and test it the way they describe (usually just using a multimeter 9 bucks for a cheapo will work) if it doesnt pass, then get a new one, if it DOES pass, try cleaning it and your throttlebody with sensor-safe throttle body cleaner spray (about 5 bucks in any Auto store)

This has happened to me before when I had a ford Probe. Never driving one of those again. Anyhow, yea I cleaned the throttlebody already. So im going to go with testing the output on the IACV. The car doesnt even do it all the time. It happens more often when its humid out or raining. It also hasnt stalled out yet, just came really close a bunch. Also, in general the car seems kinda sluggish on pickup sometimes. I wonder why? any ideas?

I dont know why its sluggish, the only thing I can think of offhand is to check your base timing... But mine would die more often when it was colder out. Now that its warmer, it never happens, once I get the time from work, maybe this weekend, I will clean the throttlebody on my own lude. It almost never happens to me anymore, so it isnt so much of an issue for me to take too much time outta my schedule for it....YET
