i never noticed this hole or what was in this hole originally. I leave to iraq park my car for the wifey.......she comes back from cali,.... and now there is this hole ----she said there is threading in it. I have no idea what is supposed to go here.
Somebody help .......sends pics of you respective area or whatever will help. thanks
That looks strange...like the MAP sensor is sitting on a spacer/riser...I don't recall mine being like that...I'll go out and check it...and then go buy some snowmobile parts...and hopefully remember to come back and post.

yeah i definitely don't have that spacer...put your finger over the hole while it's running...does it change the idle? if it does...that's clearly your problem. see if you can just take that piece out and mount it on the tb where it should be...or go buy a screw to fit the hole, or put a piece of tape over it or something.
wait...do you even have an idle issue? your title said idle funxed...
if it's not that, search in the forums for "FITV" fast idle thermo valve. and "IACV" idle air control valve.
check your vacuum lines. honda used black vacuum caps not yellow. and my denso map sensor is black with no sticker on it. the text is silkscreened directly onto it. did the wife have any work done to the car? (oil changes, air filters, tuneups etc)

okay so i covered it with elec tape and poked a hole for just enough air.. I see that there is some kind of airflow issue and if i take the spacer out im afraid its still bogging out...any suggestions??? i checked the airbox all the way up to the throttle and all is good no odstructions.
Your like the luckiest fool I've ever known.... sand storm= free paint and windows.... now you bust your value keeper and dont bust a hole in your piston just at the time you pull it and rebuild...........
i mean damyn if i was you id go by and get a lotto ticket!!
there must be something causing it to draw too little air...like the opposite of a vacuum leak...same thing is going on with my car (i think it's because of the basemap tuned obd1 ecu though) so I just ran a vacuum line from one of the extra spots on the IM to a spot on my aftermarket intake...like it was meant for it or something...doesn't make any sense...
