but what if the prelude driver is a better driver? i mean are you saying you wouldnt even try if you pulled up next to one?

people dont understand that we can beat v8's. people dont know how to drive their damn cars. i mean i beat a t/a a cobra, a rousche and some other shit before i even had nitrous.... driving abilities have a lot to do with winning a race. reaction time-shifting-etc.

Hey...if you can...more power to you, but i know my self, and i can't win with a corvette, i got smoked by a cobra (they are over 300hp) so i know i'm not gona win with a Z06.......

Yeah I guess it does depend on the driver alot. But cmon dood. If you have equally good drivers and you race a lude vs a z06 vette, the vette will destroy us. I think it is possible to beat a the nromal vettes, but not a z06. I mean what makes one think that a lude can beat a vette if a nsx can't even beat one? How high of a shot are you running Ben? 75 shot?? 100+?? I don't doubt that you probably did beat one, but given two good drivers we would lose. That's what i think bro.

im running a 75 shot, but thats besides the point. the z06's have 410hp stock.

one of the things that really bothered me when i first came here was that whenever i had a kill story, no one wanted to believe me. "oh it impossible for a nearly stock prelude to beat a trans am". i ran a 97 cobra 3 times, won every time, couldnt wait to tell the sho peeps, but no, everyone hated. same when i took on the rouche mustang. its like, you never know what can happen. youve got nothing to lose when you pull up next to a car that should stomp you. if you lose the race, well, it does 13's stock (or whatever) but just think about if you win. how shitty the other driver would feel about himself

i dunno, just thought id bring it up

this is a worthless thread, youre compare the lude to a car with more then twice the hp and triple the torque

if a z06 can decimates a nsx on every performance category, a prelude...........

I think you just gave this thread the wrong title. Most of us know that a Z06 would burn 95% of us modified Preludes. What you should have done was name this thread "WuTangBen vs. Shmuck who can't drive his Z06"

hmmm, Z06 wins. Even if they Z06 driver is retarded, he'll still win. more powerful, better brakes, better handling,,,,

In the Z I might stand a chance from a rolling start but in a prelude nothing could be done to win. sorry

Yeah bud, I see the point you are trying to make. Like I stated erlier, I didn't doubt that you beat it. I think it is fun and all to try and beat a superior car, given that I'vs gotten the shit kicked outa me by my best friends gst running 17 lbs of boost and losing to my friends nova =) I'm all for giving it a shot. But I thought that you were trying to say that given two good drivers that a lude would prevail.
