there was a prelude commercial. The one I remember is everything is dirty as fuck in the garage and house...I am talking dirty as FUCK...shit everywhere.
then the guy is outside polishing the lude up....just totally CLEAN.

Anyone else remember the Prelude commercials on TV for the 4th gen. Dr. Ruth that old lady that writes books about sex for old people was the spokesperson on the commercials. At the end of every commercial she would say "My advice to you, is get a Prelude."
I also remember the commercial for the 5th gen when it first came out. It had one of those bobbing dashboard hulla dancers in the car and by the end of the commercial it was screaming from how fast the driver was taking turns in the 5th gen.

Also, anyone else remember the magazine advertisement where the indy car driver is running from the indy car to his 5th gen Prelude and everyone is looking at him like he is crazy. Then the caption under the picture reads "With the new Honda Prelude the driver has complete control of the car, or is it the other way around"
if you mean on television, yeah there was one or two like
around 1996-1997.
it's the one where the guy is escaping from work in a black prelude SH and everyone and everything is trying to hit the car and stop him from escaping but they all miss hitting the car and in the end a bird ends up pooping on the lude, while it is still driving.

thing is I think they only ran that commercial during 1996 and 1997 and then that was it.
also there was another one where the "voice of honda" who ever that guy was, is saying "thank you" either to the people that work at honda or the people that buy them and in the end on a bridge there is a silver prelude SH that drives across.
not many people remember that one but I think it ran only several weeks.
