Thinking about carbon fiber hood.

So yeah...when I bought my car it had a bra on it. Needless to say I took it off immediately when I bought the car. There is some paint damage on the hood from tha bra. What it is is actually small cracks throught the clearcoat and the paint. They are very fine, but are noticable close up. My hood also has a few small dents for some reason or another.

I got a quote once to get this all repaird, and it was close to $600 bucks, mainly because the paint would need to be blended. i was thinking that I could avoid all of this and just buy a carbon fiber hood. But I'm unsure of how good they look on my color car.

I was thinking also that I could just have the center "V" shaped part painted and leave the sides showing the fiber. That way it wouldn't need to be blended since the new and old paint is not side by side. I saw a 200sx like that once and it looked pretty nice.

What do you guys think? Would my car be too ricey with a carbon fiber hood? anyone have pics?

here is my car incase anyone wants to attempt a photo shop of a cabon fiber hood:

maybe not the best pic, but all i had in my gallery.

depends on what you wanna spend. The VIS ones are like 500. Ebay ones are like 250 but they add like 150 dollars for shipping.

ah nice i forgot about you and the accord. I was hoping i could find pictures of a CF hood on a cashmier prelude.

also, any problems with the ebay ones? i was checking them out and some of them looked pretty good...but how's the weave and quality on those things?
