I just bought a '03 Honda Pilot EX with leather with 91k on the clock for $9,800. Great one owner truck, but I heard there were issues with the 5-speed automatic transmissions in these trucks is that correct? Do they fail even with teh recall fix around 100k??

If so shoudl I get a powertrain warrenty?

Also I paid extra to have them instal a Honda factory power moonroof, but it does not look like the sunroof was ever a option on these trucks???

Never had a problem with the tranny in our '05. If they were recalled for a fix, I'd presume they work OK now.

The difference between a sunroof and a moonroof is that the sunroof goes up over the car, while the moonroof goes between the roof of the car and the headliner. Our EX-L has a moonroof standard.
