if it's a "club racer," shouldn't it be featured with the hardtop in place, or better yet, permanent?

most racing sanctioning bodies require it, don't they?

not a fan of the front spoiler that looks out of place (design looks too different from the rest of the car... no blending of "lines")

and does anyone else feel the way i do about the seats?
in other words...
versions of this car in markets outside of the usa would have full shell bucket racing seats from recaro?

not the stock seats in "unique" fabric so that our horizontally-well-endowed countrymen can fit?

The s2000 is going to be discontinued soon...at least let it go with some dignity!

They should have given it a Type-Rish treatment. Here's how it should have been done:

Make it come in Champ White
CF Hardtop
Red Recaro seats
Black w/ red stitching interior
Brembo brakes
Gut it! Sound deadening, radio, AC etc (It's a track car, don't need that crap)
Put some better light weight wheels on it
And change that ugly spoiler and front bumper

Right now it doesn't seem so great, it's only 90lbs lighter then a normal S2000 w/o the hardtop on and 10x uglier then a normal S2000. And what is with the color

makes me wonder what they are thinking over there at their design centers....

this was like the last decent looking car in their lineup... and they had to muck it all up...

1of9 is an unknown quantity at this point
I'm not feeling the rear wing too much... and the color... the front is okay.. ummm... over all I rate it 7/10 ... but yeah... 90 lbs. lighter that the original S2k is not enough....

2 totally different design concepts conflicting with each other, much in the same way the bangle trunk looks on the bmw 7 series...

in both cases, they were proven to benefit airflow affecting the cars' dynamics, however, aesthetically, they're YUK!

yep and no doubt this will help out airflow, i still think they could have done better to benefit airflow while keeping it slightly more stylish
