Chevy Cobalt to Get Longer Warranty
General Motors Corp. will include a longer-than-typical powertrain warranty on its new Chevrolet Cobalt small car that hits U.S. showrooms this fall.
The new model’s powertrain will be covered for five years/60,000 miles (96,558 km), matching a warranty program Chevrolet launched earlier this year when it introduced the Aveo, imported from South Korea.
The Cobalt will be offered in sedan and coupe body styles staring at $14,190. Six different trim levels will be available, as will additional accessories and performance packages.
