I'm confused. So, the Cruze is the next gen Cobalt? Are they changing the name to Cruze or is Cruze just a codename? I prefer Cobalt to Cruze just because, it looks like they're throwing the 'Z' in there to be cool... and failing.
All in all though, GM has really upped their game on the design under the BowTie moniker. Mad propers to GM for that. Hopefully they see the year 2010 so we can see these designs on the road.

exactomundo...
cavalier didn't work... so they moved on to cobalt...
seems that didn't work too well either...
so, i guess it's on to cruze (honestly, it's a stupid attempt at trying to act like a total ricer)
nothing irks me more than companies trying to be cool by intentionally mispelling words/names...
anyone ever see video of when mitt romney, during his campaign for the republican nomination months back, met with a black community, and uttered nonsense like, "who let the dogs out?"

LOL... no... I wish I had though. That's comedy.
As for the name, I like the name 'Cobalt' but, the Cobalt itself doesn't speak to me. Well.... it does but, when it does, it screams, "I wanna be as popular as the Civic/Corolla!"
The 'Cruze' speaks to me in a good way but, the name is.... well.... just not cool.
No offenze to the people who think that throwing Z'z into placez where 'S' zhould be iz the coolezt.
thats ugly. never been a fan of GM cars. They try to hard to get into the tuner scene but their cars suck, lol. The only car that actually impresses me for the money is the Cobalt SS. It's half descent performance from the factory. I think it would be cool if Honda offered F/I from the factory, hell along with affordable RWD and that would be awesome. I like s2k's, and they ar egood for power (what, like 240?). My friend has one, a good looking car but a lot of other options out there. Can't wait for Toyota's budget rwd ae86 return. I may actually consider buying a new vehicle
