more and more rumors are surfacing about the toyota volta. rumors has it that toyota ok the production of the car, limited numbers. the cost will be around $72k.
autpspies, reported that it will be available late 2004 and early 2005 in europe. three months later in US.
it's not all about raw power =\. For a sports car i'd like a the refinement, top notch interior, top notch handling, and a sense of reliability. It's like saying you'd take a Vette over a NSX
Mods: AEM CAI, Koni Yellows, Eibach Pro-Kit and Comptech Sway/Tie Bar Kit
I think the new Vette looks better than this thing. The look of the NSX still holds it own with both. But, dollar for dollar, I'd take a vette over this new thing from toyota.
but at least toyota show the world that they can make a hybrid sport car .. unlike honda... backing out...what they promised us a while ago.. hybrid NSX

i dont think they ever said that they were gonna make the NSX a Hybrid, they said that they might put the DNX into production though.
Mods: not much - rims, intake, exhaust tips, clear sidemarkers and turns, 25 LED fogs
The Volta styling is kinda 80's futuristic, but I respect them for showing the world that a hybrid-electric can be badass, as well as good for the environment- and relatively cheap. More companies better jump on that bandwagon, cause like it or not, we aren't gonna have cheap oil for decades to come. I wish honda would actually put tha Hsc hybrid concept into production :clap :clap :clap
