Well at least they kept it under $20,000 like they said they would.

some sales man at the local honda dealership states there's a waiting list for this car and they're gonna go for $27k from the dealer and probably won't get one til mid summer 2006 :eek . personally, i think he's full of shit. this car's going to be in high demand but man, that guy has his head so far up his own ass.
Well at least they kept it under $20,000 like they said they would.
The thing is, this price is MSRP, and the real price will vary depend on city and state. Where i live, i'm very sure that the dealers will jack the price of this car with a huge-ass premium, and won't allow any price slashes. The base model of "Si" might probably cost as much as 23-25 grand here after everything.

It's supposed to be Dec. 1st. From my understanding they won't reach dealers till maybe mid Dec., and majority of those are already pre-sold. And those who want one with "Navi" are apparently getting pushed back to sometime after the first of the year.

Just spoke with a dealer, those prices are correct. They already have a large amount of deposits down for the first of the inventory. This particular dealer is not charging over MSRP, but some dealers will. If you want to make sure you get the car asap a deposit needs to be put down today or within the next week to get one. The next inventory shipment won't be until February. Of course this will vary from dealer to dealer.
