WTF! Honda Insight with 200whp + 48MPG!

This is just whack... LHT performance just transplant a 200 whp K20 on a Honda Insight and it gets 48 MPG with 60% highway and the rest is mixed. The car is fully functional car, aircon, power steering, and it uses tacho from S2000... Talk about a mod job.

Everything is made to be near OEM as possible, even the engine mount uses Honda's own mounting.

MPG numbers are expected to increase after some more setups, expected is 55+ MPG.







I've seen some pictures with the Insight being used as a dragster... But that's just stupid, this custom job however is the best, a daily driver and it just hands down proves that aero efficiency rules... Can you say 48 MPG with your Civic Si? Guess not...

Great design with low cd + Less weight + good powerful and efficient engine = daily rocket with a great fuel consumption.

why is everybody so surprised. you don't think the same thing can be achieved with tuning and a k20 transplant into an eg hatch?
