Airbag Question

First off, the air bag did NOT go off, no wreck. But the cover is cracked(let's just say I'm an idiot and leave it at that please). Is it possible to get the cover with out an airbag, or does the entire unit have to be replaced? As I said, airbag didnt go off it'd be nice if I could simply replace the cosmetic cover with one that wasnt cracked

do you mean the airbag light did not go off? take it to dealer and they will reset the airbag system.

I punched the steering wheel and cracked the cover, no airbag deployment, no lights, just an ugly and unsettling crack in the cover.

LMAO! Punishment by god for poor anger management! Try a junk yard, or ebay for a replacement, or possibly get an aftermarket universal steering wheel.
