CRV Cabin Air Filter

How difficult is it to replace the cabin air filter in a 2001 CRV? Dealer gets $100. WalMart has them for $15. In my Accord it's so easy your grandmother can do it. But the CRV has more steps. Any advice?

It's most difficult the first time. If you "notch" the bar it can come out a lot easier next time you change it.

I just did mine for the first time took about 15minutes next time a lot less.On a scale of 1 to 10 maybe a 3.Stealer wanted $115.00 Canadian to replace the cabin and engine filter and $248.00 to change the spark plugs I DON'T THINK SO.

Im not sure for ur 01 if u need 2cabin flter?
