The best way is going to your dealer. I found the code after all.
Hello I tried calling the dealer and they said that the number retrieved from the radio is incorrect the number is as follows U1002 L6938 the radio is in a 2002 honda crv and Im hoping someone can help me so as not to pay someone to pull the radio out Thanks in advance Andy
I change the car battery last night and can't turn on the radio. Can someone please help with the unlock code for a 2001 Honda Civic. The 8 digit code I received after pressing keys 1 & 6 is: U2700L7001.
Andy428, that is a good serial number but the problem is that anyone could steal a radio and post the serial number here and get the code to unlock it. I would call your local dealer again and talk to someone else and ask for the code.
sucks, left my lights on and my battery went dead. got a jump and now my radio/cd won't work. i pressed buttons 1&6 and got a code u2601 l6248, what am i supposed to do now?
Can anyone help me to unlock my Radio. I entered wrong radio code 3 times and it got locked up. Now it is not accepting the actual code (I got the unlock code from user manual now). Someone told me to disconnect battery and try again, but it did not worked. I even tried keeping it on for 1 hour as told in manual but nothing is going right way... Is there any way of clearing the lock??
actually i found the code for what i think was the stock radio; it was on the a sticker on the side of the glove compartment 41421. of course it didnt work so I'm thinking the current radio was out of another older acura

got my code from the dealer, he wouldnt give it to me over the phone b/c like some1 said earlier cassette decks r such hott items & thieves r stealing them all the time(sarcasm) it worked thank god cuz my GF wouldnt shut up about how i messed her radio up & she has 2 drive 45min in silence, i of course told her the voices in her head will keep her co.
