I'd be fairly confident running, say 8 psi on stock internal for about a month untill I could afford forged pistons. With proper tuning mind you.

my lil project
guys plz b easy on me i was wonderin if u cud use the b18c type r head with the b20b block n if the b20 crankshaft is strong enough 2 withstand big boost r wud it b better 2 change it i wud also like 2 no if findin rods n pistons for it wud b easy. wud the b18 type r crank work back with it? thanks

Did you read this thread?
Yes, a B18C5 head will work. No, you it cant withstand big boost, or even small boost. You would need to have it sleeved to boost it. The crank isnt the problem, its the cylinder walls.

See above. Know what you're talking about before spouting off non-sense. Turbos, superchargers, and nitrous can and have all been used many times on CRVs and Preludes, with 8 PSI and more.
Is it the smartest thing to do on a stock block, of course not. Can and has forced induction been used reliably for years on CRVs and Preludes, absolutely. It's just that most of you don't know anyone who has done it.
