3.2 TL 98' Replacing transmission

It's auto, how many shop hours they charge for that? Did anybody DIY?

My friends just went out today. A local shop is charging her $3200.

I'm thinking of getting my other friend to replace it. $900 at local junk yard, and then he charges like $200 to put it in.

You might want to ask someone that can do it on the side.

I just changed one in my garage, 2000 TL with 137k miles, got one from the junkyard in PA from

find one with a 100 day warranty and you'll be ok, the trans I put it did have two bad solenoids lucky I just used my old trans

I believe a 98 is a 4spd so you'll be ok finding one
