Auto lock the doors!
Is there any way to make a 2003 Acura TL lock door automatically. That is, when you stop the engine and get out of the car, can it lock the door automatically after say a minute or so.
I have noticed that it locks automatically if you unlock it (from outside of course), but don't start engine. But it does not lock automatically if you were driving and parked it, and stopped the engine and got out of the car.
I really crave for that feature. I think it is fairly trivial, and I don't know why they haven't put that feature in. The only reason I could imagine is that they are afraid that you may have forgotten the keys inside the car when you got off and if they would lock the car automatically, then you are locked out. But I wonder how many times do you actually forget the keys inside, as compared to how many times you have stuff (groceries etc) in your hands when you get out of the car and you have no third hand available to lock the car.
Does anybody else crave for that feature, or am I crazy??
